Baby&Me Yoga

A time for mothers to nurture and be nurtured. You’ll be doing exercises on your own and with your baby or toddler from the basic hatha yoga series, including warm ups, abdominal/pelvic exercises, gentle inversions, breathing practices and relaxation in a fun way.

No prior yoga experience necessary. Dads welcome, too!

Bring quiet toys for times when your child prefers not to participate.

The exercises in this yoga class help new mothers:

  • Regain energy
  • Rebalance hormones
  • Strengthen the abdominals and muscles of the pelvic floor
  • Get their body back after birth

**Exercise has been proven to greatly aid in reducing postpartum depression and anxiety.

 

Baby&Me Schedule

  Wednesdays 12:00–1:15 PM with Julie Underwood (Newborn-Crawler)
  Wednesdays 1:30–2:45 PM with Julie Underwood (Newborn-Crawler)
  Fridays 1:30–2:45 PM with Julie Underwood (Crawler-Toddler)
  Saturdays 12:00–1:15 PM with Julie Underwood (Newborn-Crawler)
